« on: March 08, 2023, 03:09:38 PM »
I just got this Mauser Model HSc today, serial number 01.24505, can someone tell me which year it is? Thank you very much!

Do you have any photos?  I love the HSc pistols. A joy to carry and shoot.

Model 1910 Pistol / Re: Introduction

Welcome!  Nice pistol.
Yeah, sometimes the modern ammo doesn't feed properly.  Or the load spring in the mag may be weak due to being stored with ammo in it?
I think there are a few topics here from the past where folks discussed ammo feeding issues.

Good info Mr. Mason. Did they just never deliver the parts?  Any communication from them?

Lets all spread the word.

When I look at that web site, he has an address in New Jersey.  35 Cotters Ln, East Brunswick, NJ 08816, USA

Mapquest shows it is the location for a business named Mauser Large Packaging: https://mauserpackaging.com/  but it looks like a non-related packaging company.

Google shows a company at that address named NFIParts (automotive) as the "most popular" search result for that address.  http://www.nfiparts.com/

Love that gun. I owned one a few years ago and enjoyed it.   Do you have a photo of yours?
I think I love the Luger more overall, but the look of the C96 more.

And yes, my dad was "horse trader" too.  He was an auctioneer and supplemented the family income with buying and selling antiques of all sorts.

We have upgraded the forum software to the latest version, in prep for a move to a new server.  If you see any problems, they are likely related.

General Discussion / Remembering Warbird - Alan Burnham
« on: May 25, 2021, 02:12:13 PM »
I was informed today that one of our long time members and fellow moderator of the site has passed away.  Alan Burnham was known as Warbird here on the site and was a wealth of knowledge, of which, he was always willing to share.  He was an early member of the site and with well over 620 posts, he was very active.  He helped moderate posts on this site and I assume others as well.  Some of you may have bought his book on Mausers, I know I did.
We salute Alan and wish him God Speed.
