Model HSC Pistol / Firing the Eagle F
« on: August 14, 2014, 12:58:18 PM »
When I first acquired it, was full of grease internally. It appeared to haven't to fired in years, if at all. Since being brought back to the States in the 40's. Cleaned out all the crud, and lubed it with Remoil.

The local farm store just got in shipment of Aguila .32 ACP's. (They told me that they haven't had any .32's, for ages.).

Took it out to the forest yesterday. Had to shoot at 7 yds, As the front sight is all but invisible at longer ranges. Ran two full mags of the Aguila's through it. Perfect function. Accuracy was also excellent. Considering the front sight is all but invisible.

WTP / Post WW II, French WTP
« on: August 04, 2014, 04:39:48 PM »
At a local show awhile back, stumbled across one of these. I knew that it was out of the ordinary, but couldn't put it together at first. WTP's have never been common, where I reside. The lack of German proof marks, finally jogged my memory. And I realized what it was. Thought about it, but between the pitting and price decided against it.

The pitting and general wear, suggested to me that it was carried in someones pocket for personal protection for quite awhile.

Model 80SA / 90DA Pistol / Mauser Pistols, made by Fegyver in Hungary.
« on: August 03, 2014, 09:40:40 PM »
Not sure if this is the correct forum?

Fegyver the Hungarian pistol manufacturer. Prior to them abandoning the manufacturer of handguns. Made at least one run of their pistols, to be sold under the Mauser name. I don't know if these guns were actually authorized by Mauser? Or if Fegyver just put spurious Mauser markings on them? In the past Fegyver has done this with their pistols, made for sale in 3rd world countries.

Two Fegyver Models are know with Mauser markings.

#1, FP9, ( Copy of High Powder), Sold as the Mauser Model 80SA

#2, P9R,  ( S & W double action clone ), Sold as the Mauser Model 90DA
