I have a Red 9 that I can't get the lock frame stop to budge. I am sure other have had this problem in the past. Looking for advice on freeing up the stop.
Thank you
William

Did you solve this issue? I have no better suggestion than spraying the rear with oil and just keep rocking the hammer and safety until the lock starts to budge. You probably tried that....

William, it is very difficult if not impossible to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues via this type of communication. I would strongly suggest trying to find a competent gunsmith in your area or you may find it necessary to send your pistol to someone familiar with C96s. If your Red-9 is in collectable condition its value warrants it being handled by someone who knows what they are doing. Regards,

You know for sure that pressing the Lock Frame Stop is only successful when the hammer is in the cocked position?
