Title: 1889 Mauser Value
Post by: garbar on November 19, 2014, 11:54:49 AM
I am trying to value an 1889 Fabrique Nationale Herstal-Liege Carbine (Lightened) that I have in my collection.  It is all matching: bolt, buttstock plate, receiver and trigger guard.  The example I have is almost identical to the carbine pictured in Ball's Mauser Military Rifles of the World 3rd Edition on the bottom of page 25.  Any input would help.  I am going to be retiring in a bit, and will be putting up my collection of Mausers for sale.  This is one of 35 Mausers in my collection.
