Holster Forum / Just purchased
« on: March 02, 2017, 10:45:46 AM »
Some of you fine gentlemen may have been bidding of this one.  Another few dollars and you would have topped my bid.  I am now enjoying an HSc drop style holster that in properly inside ink stamped and outside leather stamped.  I will share some photos, but admit my ability is limited.  Overall, it is a nice holster.  Happy to have a holster that was truly made for the HSc (only).  I have never heard of these being call "hard shell".  I wonder why?

Can anyone tell me what the triangle and bar on lower right sleeve represents?  OK guys.  I just did some research.  I cannot find the answer to that question anywhere?

WTP / WTP II ,
« on: August 05, 2016, 04:26:08 PM »
Auction coming up for a French assembled WTP 11 with a serial number of 6 on it.   Auction company says it is 90%, but it looks closer to 80% to me.  I have heard the argument that if the gun is not serial number 1, then anything above that has little extra collector value.  Anyone buy that argument?

This is listed as a 1900 Mauser.  Pretty interesting.

There were only 4 people that got to set on a bench for this photo.  My dad was the one on the right.  All others had to stand or squat.  It took many Army boys to make this one plane fly.  Enjoy.

Gun Show Announcements & Discussion / GunShow Find

Our friend Bill Castel went to Wisc. a couple of weeks ago and located an outstanding WW11 pistol example at a small gunshow.  It is by far a 10 on a 10 point scale.  A Luger with over twenty cutouts as fresh as a spring chicken.  I don't know what type of gun safe it was kept in, but I want one like it.  Congratulations Bill on this super find.

I know they go high, but how high is the value of the HSc drop holster used by the German Air Force in WW11.  It is properly marked and the condition is very good.  You all have seen it on the internet, I am sure.

Model HSC Pistol / Mauser New Model
« on: April 01, 2016, 08:42:38 PM »
Located a Mauser HSc that I am not familiar.  It is a Model 84 in 8mm.  It looks like a post war model, but I am not sure. Anyone have one of these?   I appreciate your input.

Thanks,  Jim

The uniform has been in the closet in a plastic bag since 1946.  We just took it out yesterday to look at it.  It is amazing workmanship. Have to get the correct photos attached.

Model HSC Pistol / HSc Stamping or Proof Mark
« on: January 21, 2016, 02:53:17 PM »
I seek the help of identification on the attached photo.  At first I believed it to be an antler proof mark.  After several hours of research with no success, I seek the forums help.  I no longer am sure it is an antler.  My wife thinks it is a humming bird flying thru a lock.  That leaves a wide margin for your interpretation.  It is on an HSc slide.

Thank you in advance for your input.

Anyone heard of a Nazi marked Arman Garague pistol in .32 cal?  I am sure I spelled the manufacture incorrectly.  Located one for sale and have not a clue.

Thank you for any information.
