Hi - Picked up an outstanding HSC w/ box/mags etc and it shoots fine however the rear sight is far left and I desire to center it - tried placing the slide in a protected vise and employing a brass drift to move it but no luck - and other methods or ideas available?
-
Which way did you try to drive it?

Tapping with a hammer and piece of leather as a buffer is the only way to center your Rear Sight. Using a brass drift without a buffer will potentially mar the finish.

That's a nice looking example. Looks like the Interarms version. Is it the American Eagle edition?

Hi & thanks for replies above - It's Interterms - 01.23640 No indications it's an "American Eagle" edition - I did employ leather - want to drive it right - note sight in pic - thot I might get pointed to a sight adjust tool that works on an HSC - Thanks again,
