So i recently came across a mauser-werke hsc pistol. The serial number is 849164. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. All i know is what is stamped on the gun and that it was made in 1943.

Try GunValuesBoard.com and you will need to post pictures and a detailed description for a valuation.

This is the hsc that i have

Looks like a commercial. Have you taken it apart to see, if the numbers are matching? The left side grip looks good. Is the right side grip in equally good condition? What is on the bottom of the mag? You can call me and I can talk you thru the take down process. Removing other parts, I get in trouble. 417 296-1094

Nice to talk to you on the phone. Happy we got your gun apart and back together. Good to hear that it is all matching. That magazine serial number has me stumped. I will let others contribute to that observation. Good luck with it.

Here are more pics of that hsc.

I'm glad Jim helped you through the disassembly. Based on his information about the serial numbers, the value of your Peak Wartime HSc (made in July 1943) is about $650. That is if the right side of the piece that you seem shy about showing is the same as the left side. Anything else, let me know.

The right side is in just as good of condition as the left....i meant to post a picture of the other side but it didn't go thru. .. keeps saying picture is to large

Most of the time your digital camera takes to large of information file based in pixels to publish. Many times a photo must be converted to a smaller file size in order to be uploaded to a web based server. Send them to me and I can resize them with a software package that I have.
