It given to my father by albert Yodl's driver in 1974. can it be traced back to Yodl.

Unfortunately, since no actual records have been found, connecting a particular HSc to its wartime owner is nearly impossible.

I do have the original holster with Yodl's signature inside but that does not prove that it is the original gun that came with the holster. The pistol is in excellent condition and his driver said that it had only been fired 2-3 times when General Yodl owned it.

Pictures of the pistol and holster along with description of any markings on the left side of the Trigger Guard, left side of the Frame next to the Hammer, and any marks on the Holster would at least prove that it was German Army issue since Yodl was an Army General.

I located a photo of him meeting Hitler.  His sidearm that he carried in that photo was a Luger P08.
