Some questions that will help:
Do the serial numbers match and what manufacturing date does that indicate? (the forum has this info)
Caliber?
Any other proof marks you can share?
I see that leather lanyard, interesting but not sure if that is original - maybe others can comment.
Did it come with a stock?

KAR 98K Rifle / No Letter Suffix, bnz 44 Barrel Markings Question

Good evening. I have had a no letter suffix, bnz 44 k98 for a few years now. All numbers present match and are of similiar font. V7 mark on the receiver. I never really got into the barrel markings until today when I read a forum thread from 2010 that was a survey of markings on known SS contract rifles. It used serial/ location(s), ring marking, and barrel markings.  Most of the barrel marking around my serial number were DH or DE, when I looked at mine it reads avk AZ with a small eagle over a 13. That’s it. No date, no firing proof, and when I looked up the code in “Backbone of the Wehrmacht”, said it was used in 1945. I know this book has some mistakes but is this one or do I have a bnz 44 rifle that was at some point rebarreled in ‘45 or did I get duped?

I received this gun as a gift from my father and am looking to possibly sell it. Im not sure where to begin. There is also some sort of identifying mark on the gun that my father says is the symbol/sign of the turkish emir. Is anyone able to help identify/appraise this gun?

General Mauser Rifle Questions / 1930 mexican mauser model 1910 7mm

Need to find a bolt for a mexican mauser model 1910 fabricated in Mexico, fabrica Nacional de Armas. It has a 3 digit series number. Am I mistaken in think it has a small ring m98 bolt? Any information would be appreciated. I would like to get it close to original state.

Model HSC Pistol / HSc 380 Tritium sights

I have an HSc 380 1977 1 of 5000.  Do y’all have any recommendations for tritium night sights.  My intent is to use it for EDC.  I realize that reloading would be difficult in a tactical situation, but, if I need more than 8 rounds in a EDC situation, I’m toast anyway.

Regarding magazines; there are several on Gunbroker right now.


FYI, the .32 mags and 380 ACP are interchangeable. Mauser built the pistol to take either one. That’s why you can exchange barrels and shoot either caliber. However, 380 is harder on wear and tear.
