Hello again!
This one is for sale!
An early (i think) 1941 Kriegsmarine with the Navy property mark on front grip only, serial 707901!
Warbird;
in your booklet there is a amount of 10812 of this second variation, how many is "registered" today? Many of these maybee is on the bottom of the sea!
The holster is typically PP, or Mauser - seems ok to me...?
The property mark is way high up against the trigger guard?
This pistol is all number match, and has a lanyard loop and the pattern between the front sight an back sight.
The seller told me that the name of the German offiser was carved in on the one grip plate... :)
What do you think?
Respectfully

Hello Aisle loos like great HSc. Can't answer your question though. Warbird he needs your help on this one. The one I posted is 2nd generation too but not Kreigsmarine.
-
Asle: I don't know what you mean by "registered". Try to explain further.
The Holster is Police pattern, not Navy. Navy Property Mark location is good.

Warbird,
Thank you - i ment rare - is this a rare pistol today, do you see them often...?
Thank you

Hope you get the pistol. Our old buddy, Roger Wolfe an avid collector, use to say that most of the first variation's "M" were at the bottom of the sea. So I have heard that expression before. Good luck with the purchase. It will not be cheap.

Your number from the chart only includes one year of production. Total Eagle/M is 14,236 or about 5.6% of production. Is it rare? Always a tough question. It ranks after the Low Grip Screws, Army Variations 1 and 2, and Police Variation 1. So not as "rare" as these but highly collectable. Congratulations!

Thank you, and not that rare as the HSc with both Navy property mark on FG, and the MIII/8...?

That is correct.
