Title: Rare Mauser?

Hey guys, I have a Mauser that I can not find any info for for the life of me.... I think it may be rare. There are absolutely no markings anywhere on the rifle besides the serial number stamped both on the receiver and barrel, that's it! Please, any info on dates, type, cal., etc. would be really appreciated!

Is it a commercial rifle sold to hunters? Just a SWAG on my part.

Looks like a sporterized Model 1895 to me.  I have one like it.
