it's hard to add value to something that's priceless to me 👍🏻. here's a couple photos of the paperwork. the first is the original the second is when he went through customs.

New Year's Day I  traveled to my cousin's house she did not know my grandfather which is unfortunate but I wanted her to be a part of shooting this pistol for the first time in over 33 years.  so we put about 70 rounds through it and the gun performed flawlessly.  I do have the documentation from World War II were my grandfather went to the proper channels to legally bring the pistol back from Germany. I even have the paperwork for when he went through customs here with the pistol

thank you for letting me know when it was manufactured. I have yet to shoot the pistol because I want to experience it the same way my grandfather did out in the country not in an indoor firing range. to the best of my knowledge it's in its original condition

I have recently received an HSc from my grandma. my grandpa acquired the pistol from a German officer that he captured during WWII. by the markings and serial number I know that it is a commercially made pistol between 1940 and 1945.  I was wondering if there was anyway possible to find out the exact date of manufacture and who the pistol was originally issued to. the serial number is 917626. thank you for any help and information that you can provide.
