THE MARKING ON THE RIM IS 1883. THE NUMBER 3 IS VERY FAINT.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT CALIBER THIS IS? IT'S FROM MY GRANDFATHER'S 1880 GERMAN STALKING RIFLE... POSSIBLY AN MR433. I HAVE NO MARKINGS ON THE RIFLE. HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS. I DON'T HAVE THE MEASUREMENTS YET. THEY ARE COMMING. JUST THOUGHT YOU MIGHT COULD ADD SOME INFO JUST ON WHAT'S SEEN. THANKS
