Split-base floor plate removal
« on: July 19, 2020, 10:07:39 AM »
what is the safe way to remove the splip-base type floor plate from the 1910 magazine body base? It looks just to be spring/friction held in place?

The bottom end of the magazine spring forms a lock for the base plate.  Using the side cutouts in the magazine, you need to work the bottom of the spring up and out of the way before you tap the baseplate off.
