Prepper:
Hiello. I am a new member to this forum. I just purchased  Mauser 7.65 (32) 1914/1934 pistol with the serial number beginning with 3021XX. Can anyone tell me about it? Thank you.

1914mauser:
Sure and welcome to the forum,

By the serial number, your 1914 Mauser pocket model was made in 1924. I refer to it as a 1914 standard post war (WWI) the 1934 models have a "MAUSER WERKE..." slide address where yours has the "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER..." address. Your model is quite often found in very good condition as post war Mausers were very well made and left the factory with quality finishes.

Pleas tell us what else you might want to know and post pictures if you can so we can see condition.

Regards,

Thanks! I appreciate your knowledge. Do you think this specific gun was used by German police or was it more likely owned by civilians. While it came with a holster, i would be interested in a period-correct and role-correct holster. Thanks again.  Also, trying to upload pics. Alan

Prepper:
PS, whst value would you put on this weapon? Thanks again. Alan

1914mauser:
Alan,

There is no way of knowing who purchased or used this pistol but most likely it was sold on the civilian market and most likely did not see much use. If well used or carried the condition would show it. Value on the current market around $350

You may have a period correct holster. Post some pictures and we will be able to tell what you have.

Regards,
