Can you tell the difference between a extension wartime-magazine and a post war magazine for the HSc?

The wartime Finger Extension for a Magazine was made of blued sheet metal.  The later New Model extensions were made of black plastic.

I believe I have been told there is an early metal extension and a late war metal extension model with the difference being between machined and stamped followers.  I think I may be correct on that point.  Now you have two mags on your wish list.
